First time visiting and I've just had the best fish butty I've ever had, easily! The staff were so lovely! It was busy when we first arrived but the quick customer service helped sort that in no time! Absolutely lovely food and staff.

Great place and atmosphere. Staff there were a delight and super friendly, even having to cope with me answering questions not asked 😂 way to make a fool of myself! Food was delicious, was nice and fresh and the taste beats out any chippy I’ve been to in years! Will definitely be returning, the pricing was good aswell!

Best fish and chips we've had in years!! The batter on the fish is how I expect it to be but hardly ever is...lovely and crisp. Friendly staff too. Can't believe how many times I've driven past over the years and never been before. Can't wait to return 10/10 😃

On my first visit here several years ago I overheard a customer in front saying they come from Manchester for fish and chips here. I was thinking that I've heard it was good but that's commitment! Well, its been one of my firm (and pretty much only fish and chip shop) since! Generous portions, freshly made, great service which feels genuinely warm. You don't often feel you can say much about fish and chips - but when you need something a little more - this is more.

Visited this evening ordered fish & chips twice & a teacake had to wait as they are cooked to order well worth the wait .The fish was chunky with a crispy batter not had it like this in years plus the chips were cooked to perfection.For us these were the best we have had in years & we travelled from Holmfirth on a recommendation.
